A Project Recognized by Detroit Design

I’m proud to share that a residence I helped design during my time as Senior Interior Designer at Sapphire Luxury Homes has been named the 2026 Detroit Design Awards Readers’ Choice for Best Overall Home.

This project was a true celebration of craftsmanship, sophistication, and thoughtful residential design. Every element was carefully considered to create a home that feels refined and distinctive while remaining comfortable, functional, and deeply personal to its owners.

Seeing the completed residence recognized by Detroit Design and selected by its readers is especially meaningful. It represents the collaboration of a talented team of designers, builders, craftspeople, vendors, and homeowners who shared a commitment to creating something exceptional.

I’m grateful to have played a significant role in bringing this home to life and proud to carry the experience, attention to detail, and design principles developed through projects like this into the work of JR Interior Design.
